But I have yet to even use this new backpack and have the exact same issues: the clip doesn’t work properly and the leather is peeling off again. I emailed photos and quickly got a replacement bag at no extra charge which was phenomenal customer service. After a handful of lightly packed trips with the bag, the leather top started to come off.
I replaced a small piece and continued to use it. The first one I ordered came with a broken clip. I hate to leave this kind of review but I’m honestly really disappointed in the quality of this backpack.
